Welcome to LoongLore ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using loonglore.com, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using LoongLore, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may sign in using Google or X (Twitter) OAuth. You agree not to share your account or use another person's account without permission.

3. Content Usage

LoongLore provides Chinese language learning content including historical stories, translations, pinyin, and vocabulary glosses. This content is provided for personal, non-commercial educational use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or sell our content without written permission.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

LoongLore offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. If you are unsatisfied within the first 14 days of a paid subscription, contact us for a full refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding on LoongLore is owned by us or our licensors. The vocabulary and review data you create belongs to you — you may export it at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our content
• Interfere with the security or operation of the service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits

8. Limitation of Liability

LoongLore is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
